The children have been busy planting seeds and learning about how things grow. Our outdoor learning area is coming to life with sunflowers, herbs and vegetables that the children will care for throughout the spring term.
Gardening is a wonderful way for children to connect with nature and experience the full life cycle of a plant — from seed to sprout to flower. The children have loved getting their hands in the soil, watering their plants each morning, and checking for new growth.
This project ties beautifully into our Cultural & Factual area of learning, where children explore the natural world through concrete, hands-on experiences. We’ll be sharing more photos as the garden grows over the coming weeks.
